Bryan McGovern Wilson (b. 1984) is a trans-disciplinary artist whose work addresses themes of craft, ritual, and the body.
His work examines how models of thought are passed down throughout time and how these models are manifested in the now, via the body. Specifically, how information systems manifest as objects and how objects become information. Through the mediums of sculpture, performance, and drawing. Wilson seeks to present complex histories, materials, and experiences through artistic and social practices, sited in the present, projected into the future.
He lives and works in New York City.
